Secondary at Blue Hills

The secondary school program at Blue Hills College is designed to enhance the academic, spiritual, emotional, social and physical development of each student; cultivating the adolescent members of our college into independent, capable, responsible and resilient people of integrity who are committed to serving their community.

Our secondary school is registered with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to cater for students from Years 7-12.

​

Secondary students in Year 7 - 12 receive access to a personal laptop device through our laptop levy program.  Secondary laptops include access to online educational platforms including:

  • Google Classroom

  • Microsoft 365

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Cambridge Mathematics​​

Our general objectives are designed to guide students towards developing of their full potential, and in doing so, supporting them to achieve success in reaching their personal goals.

Our Staff Care

Our teachers create safe learning environments that allow students the freedom to embrace excellence, creativity and innovation in their learning. Our teachers are the main link in communication between home and school.  Prompt follow-up of any student difficulty or circumstance to ensure a lasting effective solution is vitally important to our staff.

Blue Hills College (BHC) is committed to quality and affordable Christian education. We provide sibling discounts to assist families, in addition to employer subsidies through Adventist employment facilities, and a generous scholarship program is available to eligible students.

Current Elective Choices

Blue Hills college offer a range of elective subjects based on the students interests and capabilities. Our elective subjects change from year to year, based on student interests and teacher availability. If a subject is not able to be run at the school, students are able to complete the subject via Southern Cross School of Distance Education and TVET (TAFE).
